The word “Swastika” comes from the Sanskrit words Su. Su means well and asti means to be. “Swastika” brings the meaning of good, fortune, congratulate, etc. The Swastika was a specifically Indo-European symbol.
Western meaning: In the western,” Swastika” means life and good luck but it has also taken on a meaning of hate and death. There is a great debate as to what the swastika means now. These conflicting meanings are causing problems in today's society. They used, “Swastika” as a popular symbol. By the early 20th century it was widely used worldwide and was regarded as a symbol of good luck.

Eastern meaning: Swastika is an important symbol in Eastern religions, notably Hinduism and Buddhism, among others, and was also used in Native American faiths before World War II. It brings good, well, fortune, etc.
